font directory not defined

I am running Server 2003 and when I try to print from an application I get “windows font directory not defined” I am printing to a networked hp 4000 pc5e printer and have upgraded the drivers. I have another 2003 server that works fine when printing to a hp 5000 series printer. I have to be able to print to the 4000 printer. Please help.
