Force Local Profile

I have a network in which all of the users use roaming profiles. We are looking into purchasing some netbooks. I am looking to have these for “drop-in” or meeting-only use and would like to let a user log-in without having to wait for the roaming profile to load. These computers pretty much will be used to display slideshows, so there is no need to have any of a user’s settings, but I would still like to use the domain for authentication. Is this possible?
