Forms in VBA

Hi,
I am having a lot of trouble getting forms to behave the way I would like them to. Does anyone have an easy explaination on how to effectivly use forms. I can not get the setfocus event to work most times and when I display forms on top of forms and then go back to the original form it doesn’t work. If any one can provide any help or examples this would help heaps. Thanks…
