Hi I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree that specialization in Biomedical Computing. I am unemployed right now. I wish to be a Healthcare Analyst or Health Information Analyst. I have a volunteer opportunity in 2 months for Canadian Society of International Health which I go to Guyana and do Health information systems testing and train ppl under the Ministry of Health of Guyana and this other healthcare organization. The question is should go for this volunteer opportunity or keep looking for a job? This volunteer opportunity is 6 months and they will help me finding an employment afterwards. I have been trying to find a job these 3 months after I came back from my graduation trip but so far the only jobs I can go for are clerical in the hospital because I don’t have enough training in the computer area.
