FTP Cannot Connect using Server 2003 As A Gateway

Hi,

Up until yesterday we were able to FTP through to other hosts using the server as a gateway, if we connect directly on the server it works, if we connect straight through the router/firewall it works. so it doesn’t look like a firewall problem and i believe the problem is somewhere in server 2003; any help or ideas would be uttermostly appreciated!!
