ftp server setup

Hi,
I want to set up ftp server on my server machine(Solaris UNIX)and make the ftp server to accept different usernames and passwds. Right now, my server machine machine only allow ftp, anonymous and root to use the ftp service.Who can help me to set up the ftp server correctly?
