Ever since I switched from a dial-up connection to a satellite connection I cannot connecto to any of my online games. When I was on dial it would connect instantly but on the new one I get nothing. The company Im with is called ExploreNet, the modem runs to an Asus wireless router (model:WL-500W) then to an Asus wireless access point (model:WL-330gE). My desktop is plugged right into the access point and the laptops are all wireless. Our setup is a little different the what most would have because of where we are. I live out in the middle or nowhere and I share the connection with a neighbor. They are only around for a few months a year since this is cottage country. So the modem and router are in my aunts cottage as a middle point thats why we need the access point. With this connection it is alot faster for browsing the net but when it comes to online games its a no go. Is there something that I can do to help this problem? I have even tried an internet accelerator to help butit seems to only affect browsing. Any help would be greatly appreciated
