Games won’t run in XP Pro user accounts

I look after several XP Pro computers. Some of the users want games installed (not business computers). I hav eput several games on (Harry Potter, Age of Empires, Max Payne…) which run fine on the administrator account but will not run in the user accounts.
Why?
The issue is not whether the games should be there or not, just why they will not run.
