Generic Key for Win 98 floppy install.

Has anyone got a key for an install set of the original Windows 98 Floppies. I currently have a customers LT in for repair needing a new HDD and as the CD is a USB one I need an OS installed before I can access the CD.

But the owner provided me with a set of Floppies to install from along with an OEM CD set but neither the Generic Key provided by M$ or the product key on the book will allow these to instal. MS now claims that they can’t provide a product key and offered to provide me with a CD but I would be back to the same problem no CD until an OS is installed and I am unable to install the cd because even with DOS installed the CD Driver comes on a CD.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
