I have two separate networks (one production and one lab/testing). On the lab side I have a box running an ftp server that I need to send files to. I have to keep this lab isolated from the production network.
So my thought was to build an NT Workstation with two 100Base-T cards. One card is connected to the lab network and one to the production network. I put this together and I can get a file from an ftp server on the production side and send it to the lab side.
What I would really liketo do is turn this box into a “relay”. So an application can send a file to this box via ftp and when a file appears this box sends it to the lab box. I would not do anything (once this is up and running) to make it happen, it just would.
The winning answer(s) will not only include a software solution but information on where to get it and how to set it up (at least high level info).
Thanks to everyone in advance for your thoughts …
