Getting Certs to break into IT

I am looking into a school that offers training and testing for all of the following certs for just under $10,000. A+, MCDST, MCTS, MCP, MCSA. For someone with a lot of business experience (with some IT – web, database, work mixed in), no degree (have 60 hours left to complete), will this help me get a foot in the door in IT. I want to get a IT degree with an emphasis on Databases, but as a new single parent raising a two year alone, I cannot wait another 3 years before earning more income.
