getting error message “The Print subsystem is unavailable”

Hey Everyone,
for some reason my computer at work is acting weird. I cannot print anything. when I go to print something I get a Window that says “before you can print you need to install a printer”. And when I go to add a printer I get an error message that says “Out of Resources” and inside that error window it says “Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources”. I dont know what it could be. I can find the printer that I want in the network it just doesn’t let me add it. OS is Win2000PRO any help is welcome thank you.
