Gigabit network

Please help with my situation
I have a 100mbps router
2 PCs (1000mbps cards)
1 NAS (1000mbps)

If I buy a 1000mbps switch, and connect the PCs and NAS with it, will my transfer speed of files rise? I know the internet connection wont get any faster, but I would like to speed up the “home” network.. thanks
