Gigatech gt440l backlight not working on mac pls help?

Hello.
I am using a gigatech gt440l on my late 2011 iMac it works fine with typing and everything but the backlight key (org the Scroll lock key) doesent seem to work for me.
If anybody can help me please feel free to answer
