Group Policy Proxy Settings

Hello,

On my work laptop something has been installed recently that is now not allowing me to change the proxy settings in IE, I can never apply my settings, it is always pointing at an automatic config script, regardless if I change it to something else.

Then I tried editing the group policy settings but they were also getting overwritten by something.

I can’t figure out what’s stopping me now from changing the proxy settings in IE, global policy editor, and in the registry.

What kind of software or script has presecendence over these?

It was always fine until recently.
