Good starting experience in IT Support?

I recently took a job as a Client Representative 1 in Healthcare IT. However, I am studying for Network Administration for an Assoc. in Science and then Securtiy for Bachelors.
Job:
– customer service
-reset passwords for web portal users
– transfer batch files
– etc.
Is this a good starting point or should I be looking for something different?
