Goodlink/Outlook/Treo700wx

I’m tasked with figuring out why our Treo users aren’t able to send attachments using goodlink. As it is when you capture a photo and try to send it, it is defaulting to an Outlook email and they’re piling up in the Outlook outbox not being sent.

Our standard configuration is only using Goodlink as the only email outgoing from this device. I’m told that our exchange servers aren’t setup to send receive through outlook and for some reason never will be.

I’m basically desktop support but have access to the server running Goodlink and determined we’re using version 4.9.3.xx.

Setting the endusers up with some other web based email is not an option for security reasons.

This is low priority for our Doman Admins so I’m trying to gather as much information on how to correct this issue then present them with my finds.

Can anyone give me some insight as to what the problem is? Is it Exchange, Goodlink version, the MS PDA portion version? Does Goodlink version 5 resolve this issue?

The problem seems to be that our Goodlink version doesn’t allow any attachments at all so it defaults over to Outlook. I’ve went through all the preferences on the PDA side and cannot find a setting to change that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks…
