Groove 2007 Account Upgrade Unsuccessful

by rlcallaway . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

I am running Windows XP. I had Groove 3.1 and my company sent me Groove 2007. When I attempted to install Groove 2007 it said I had to remove all previous versions — which I did. I then installed Groove 2007 and got the message that the installation was successful. When I attempt to launch Groove I get the error message “Account Upgrade Unsuccessful” “Reboot”. Naturally rebooting doesn’t work and it just repeatd. Reinstallation doesn’t work and MS expects me to pay them $100 for technical support. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?
