Guidelines for Designing a network

by shanghai sam . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

In my Company, we are going to have 2 Internet Leased Line 128Kbps & 512Kbps . these 2 leased Line will terminate at two different Router one on Cisco 2503 & another on Cisco 2621.

i plan to make 2 subnets i.e 192.168.1.0 with 255.255.255.0 & 192.168.1.2.0 with a subnetmask of 255.255.255.0.

Requirement

the first Network 192.168.1.0 should go through the 512Kbps leased line through Cisco 2621 . the second network i.e 192.168.2.0 should go through 128Kbps with Cisco 2503 router.

At the same time both network 192.168.1.0 & 192.168.2.0 should be able to communicate with each other i.e hosts in 192.168.1.0 should be able to see the hosts in 192.168.2.0

these are my basic requirments further to this i want both networks to go through CISCO PIX Firewall.

do u see any possible pitfalls in this Network Scenario.
Do u have any suggestions on this ??
