HANGS UP

I work at company that has 200 computers running 98. And uses win NT 4.0 for it’s server. All machines are 350MHz,64mb And 5G Hard drive.All connected useing a star teplogy.
Why does one or two computers hang up. It seems to jump around. One here two over there
What is making this happen
