Hard disk problem

Hey guys, i have a problem with my 30gig seagate hd, it had a bad cluster and i cant boot up in windows, so i used fdisk to remove the partition, when its at 6% i hangs up, so i formatted it and it only formatted 8 gig, then i used scandisk and surface scan, now windows cannot read my hd. what should i do? (just bought it 6 months ago and i cant return it coz i lost my receipt)
