Hard drive not fully recognized

i have a 20gb hard drive im putting into a PIII 450 machine . I loaded NT 4 workstation and setup the HDD in the bios it is recognized as 20 gb in the bios and seen on boot up but disk admin only recognizes 8 gb or is it 10 , anuyway the full 20 is not seen ????? What could this be ???
