Hardware Configuration & Graphic server

For intensive graphic server, what is the best CPU, L2 cache, etc in hardware? Our graphic server in SAN environment uses extreme_ip application to convert 200 MB MAC files to NT files, uses Mcaffee Virus scan when saving these file after changes, and it seems bottlenecked in ProcessorQueueLength, and runs poorly slow. What kind of server configuration to buy? RISC procesor? More than one processor?
