Hardware Conflicts with Processors

I am trying to upgrade my CPU and wanted to know if any hardware conflicts were found with the AMD Athlon XP 2200, the AMD Athlon XP 2400 or the Intel Pentium 4 1.7GHz?

My OS is Windows 2000 Pro/Server/XP.

Or can you point me in the direction of a good site that will tell me what, if any types of hardware conflicts may occur?
