Hardware Profiles

Here is the problem: I CANNOT get my PCI modem to work at the same time as my PCI Wireless card. XP just will not configure both drivers at the same time. So my idea is to create two different hardware profiles. When I boot I can choose whether to use wireless for that session, or my modem. Can this be done? I fould a Knowledgebase article that explained how to create the two profiles. So now I have one that is “Modem” and another called “Wireless”. But how do I actually configure them individually to work?
