Hardware restrictions for non-admins via group policy or regedit on xp sp2

Hi
I need help with the following.
My supervisor has asked me to lock down specific hardware on xp sp2 workstations via group policy or registry entries. We wish to prevent only
non-admins from using cd-writers and removable usb devices and floppy devices.
These machines are not on any domain or network.
