Have to use FQDN for Admin logon in W2k

by del smith . Updated 24 years ago

Have a Windows 2000 domain. Recently started exhibiting an issue where I cannot logon using the administrator account unless I use the FQDN using the username@domain.com format. The message I receive when I try to logon without it is the typicall “verify username and password” message. Gracious points awarded to those who can assist.
