Having a Plugin Issue

Hey Guys,

Just bought my hosting for my company and set up my website using WordPress. Unfortunately, as I try to install a plugin or a theme, I would always get an internal server error. So I uploaded the plugins/themes through FTP, but when I tried to activate it, it gave me the same server error.
Please assist if you have any information.
