Having problem to install Printer on USB port – XP

First I install software for HP2600 then system ask to connect the cable. after connect the cable USB detection give message that the device is not detected, having problem in the port. When i check in the device manager under Universal Serial Bus Contollers, it show UNKNOW DEVICE

would u please help me to solve it
