Heat Output of Office Equipment

My manager has asked me to research Heat output of major items of office equipment, ie Monitors, Printers. This is a new one for me and any advice you can give would be great, I made the first step of contacting Mitsubishi and told me that my monitor had a heat output of 140W … Is this not the power used? Very grateful if you could clear this up for me …
