i have a small internet cafe of 8 desktops and a desktop server , connected to a switch , and a internet connection router which has a cable from a port connected to the switch too
so there is internet connection on the 8 pcs and the server pc
i am using an internet cafe manager to manage the 8 from the server one
everything’s okay
but my problem is that the internet cafe manager works in a way that isnt comfortable with me
i have to write the server’s ip on each pc , but the server ip is changing every day , so i have to open each pc and change the ip to the new server’s ip every day so i can manage them from the server , which is awful ,there is a way to keep the ip the same no matter if the router or switch or pc is shut down ? somebody can help me ?
