Help a poor intern save his neck!

by juan363 . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I’m in dire need of help! I’m an intern at a company and I got a cisco 1605 dropped in my lap. I have NEVER done anything in the cisco world. I’m hurting to get a configuration that can help! The situation is that we have a fixed wireless connection to one ISP. The connection is coming into a dumb bridge that conmverts the signal from RF to routable internet. The connection is then inserted into the cisco ethernet 1 slot. The fixed wireless is fast, but unreliable so we also have an ISDNline as a backup. That is inserted into the ISDN WIC card. I need to setup the router to route out the wireless unless it goes down. Then switch to ISDN. Cisco promises me it is possible, but all I can see it a “VPN” type connection to another comapny site. If someone can help me that owuld be greatly appreciated, or point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

juan
