HELP! AVG Secure Search has hijacked my Chrome browser!

Please help me with this. I’d “express” installed Any Video Converter & with it came this AVG thing. It first tried to put a toolbar into Chrome, and set my default search engine and my homepage to AVG Secure Search!
I could go to Chrome settings & remove the toolbar, and reset the default search to Google. I could also get the New Tab page to open as home.

The problem is that when I press Alt+Home on my keyboard, it still takes me to AVG Secure Search! I can’t seem to get it to go to New Tab. 🙁

Can you help me please?
