HELP! – Deleted IOS from 1242 AP and can’t get IOS back on

As the title says I’ve deleted the IOS from the flash of a 1242 Access Point (as I was trying to downgrade from the LW IOS to Autonomous)

I’ve tried to TFTP from an AP which is working – but all I keep getting is a Time Out (despite both being able to ping each other)

Tried TFTP from my TFTP server and this time – all I get is cannot find the file (when I think that the correct file is there) or checksum error

And I can’t get into the ROMmon interface to try and send down the console cable (tried a break command – but it ain’t working…)

Can someone help (or post specific instructions) on how to fix
