HELP!! ExpErT adVice!! what are the reasons why connection turns ON and OFF

network server is ok. It shows connected with a 54.0 Mbps speed and that my signal is excellent but i still experience error in sending mails because im not connected on the internet. Either wireless and LAN, both have the same problem.
