Help! I want to move back into the sys admin arena

I am currently working in desktop support, and I am doing a little a bit of LAN and ADSL network support. I have worked as a contractor as a Windows Server and LAN administrator in my previous job, which I left 2 and a half years ago. I am going no where fast in this job and I want to move on, but i’m not sure what I need to do. I don’t have MCSE certifications but I do have teritary qualifications. Help!!!
