Help im gonna get in trouble! (Net Op)

i really need some advice on Net op and Novell stuff, A system fault on my school system meant for some reason that i could see the contents of the root folder with all the Private stuff in it.
By curiousity, (the scree nwas flashing i dont know why) i copied the novell client manager into my directory and also Net op.
Of course this now means that my directory has become read only.
I would like to know what kind of trouble i ca nget in, and also what ican do to remedy this situation (ive tried deleting it but it says access is denied)
