Help! laptop on safemode

Hi i was trying to remove a trojan virus on my laptop. It gave me directions telling me to turn system restore off and going to system configuration utility to check /safeboot and restart.

In doing so, my latop now runs in safemode but just a black screen with safemode text all on each side of the screen. I am unable to access windows, just the black screen. I’ve tried to run windows normally but restart but still continues to proceed to black screen. How do i get off safemode. sorry i’m noob at this kind of stuff. please help me.
