help with NTLDR error I really messed up

I could not get windows xp pro to load so I started messing around. I put in recovery discs from another computer and it made things worse. now I have the ntldr is missing message. The it says press control/alt/del. I don’t have the original discs. I went from the system config error to this one. I just got this laptop as hand me down and it worked fine until today. It’s a toshiba satellite pro 6100. Anything I can do?
