hiding sharing and security tab

by cudmasters los . Updated 15 years, 7 months ago

i have created a folder on a terminal server windows 2008, in which i map the folder. i have enabled the hide security tab in the local group policy. It works if you log into the terminal server by username. However, if i connect from a computer on the same network, but not logged on to the terminal server, or connect via vpn from another lacation, then i can see the security tab. I would have to do the same to that computer, with the local group policy. how can i prevent this? Or better yet assign permissions for the tab
