NO. 1 PROBLEM: I have a couple of computers that I am trying to connect together on a personal network. I’m using a Belkin USB Direct Connect Adapter. I have connected it to both computers on available USB ports. I have installed the drivers on both computers. I have installed File & Print Sharing for MS Networks on both computers. BUT, one computer allows you to share the hard drive. The other computer does not display the “Sharing…” on the right-click menu.
NO. 2 PROBLEM: Upon attempting to go through the Home Networking Wizard, I get the dreaded Blue Screen of death (Fatal Exception 0E). This error ocurrs just have you decide what whether you’re going to use MSHOME or specify your own name for the Workgroup. It doesn’t matter if you use the default or your own setting. The Blue Screen ocurrs in either case.
Is there anyone out there that would have any idea on how to fix these issues?
