Hi,

With my work computer wireless on my home network I cannot connect to a few machines. for example when I try to ping domain01 which is one of the pc’s I get the following….results..
Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

C:\Documents and Settings\RD_pzbn6t>ping domain01

Pinging DOMAIN01 [192.168.1.38] with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.38:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.38:

^C
C:\Documents and Settings\RD_pzbn6t>
The crazy thing is that was an old ip address seems to be stuck in my work pc when I ping domain01. The true ip address of domain01 is 192.168.1.40. I thought it was the dnscache on my work pc but doing ipconfig /flushdns does not seem to change the results of ipconfig /displaydns..any ideas?

Thanks…
