For starters, my homepage has been replaced by iwantsearch.com and I am unable to change it. Also a search bar has been added to my toolbar. When I go remove these, they are removed until I open a new webpage. Also I see that SpyAssassian has attached its name to my toolbar options. I have had this problem before and programs like spybot and spyassassian are no assistance.
I found some files in my temp file and when deleted they simply return. Also I found Search Assistant uninstall, which I assumed would be my solution in Add/remove programs, however when I go to remove this program, nothing happens. It just returns me to the top of the program list and it remains.
I solved this problem before by searching google with the name of my new homepage but I wasn’t able to find anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
