Hi.
I have a Cyberpower computer that was custom built. It’s been a great computer, but my DVD drive will no longer burn dvds or cds, or even read dvds. It does read program discs, but it seems that the thing is broken.
I’ve looked a little bit online for a replacement internal drive, but the ones I have seen are made (I think) specifically for laptops by manufacturers like HP, Mac, Gateway, Toshiba, Dell, etc.
I got an external drive but am having to return it since it either doesn’t work with my computer or doesn’t work at all. I can’t tell, since this is such a weird problem. Maybe I should try to get another external hard drive and try it out or maybe I should just wait to get an internal one that will work for sure.
I have a friend who could install an internal drive for me, but I don’t know how to go about picking the right one.
Any suggestions?
