How can I capture a print from a DOS pro

I have a windows95 pc running a DOS based application that allows me to print various reports from a menu. These all go to my parallel printer. I would like to capture the print into a file so that I can manipulate it with Excel or copy it onto a floppy disk. If it was a windows program then I know it is easy to caputure a print to a file, but as this is DOS can it be done?
