How can I check my equipment ?

Dear friend,

I have tihs equipment :
1 – 2.4M antenna
2 – 2 watt HUGHES taransiver
3 – TRES Satellite modem
5 – BroadLogic DVB receiver
6 – Cisco 2610 router

and my internet link is through Telestar12 satellie

My station is in Tehranand this sat have 51 dbW in our city .

My provider(equipment & link) claims that with this equipment
and this satellite link
I can Send data up to 2Mbps .
How can I check his claim ?
