How can i connect to a share which is saying device already in use

i have a server which has a number of shares. I can connect to other shares without problems but the other share i can not. its giving the error saying : error reconnecting the drive f: local device already in use. i tried remapping it but it did not help. However what surprises me is that i can access the share from the other computers on a different network while i am failing from other computers on a separate network again. Any ideas on how i can resolve this?
