how can I enable http access to inbox wi

I have a linux pc which Im setting up as a proxy and firewall. I also want set it up as a SMTP and POP3 mail server, but need the access to the inbox to be via a web browser, as I will be using a ‘thin’ pc (browser only). PS. I have Apache Web server installed if this will help?

I guess what Im looking for is something like hotmail, but locally.
HELP!!! which server software can I use that will enable this? do I need more than one bit of software?
