How can i know growth of DataBase ?

I just passed course DB Admin.of ORACLE but i got a question from my boss that he would like to analyze how much increase in volume of ORACLE HR data influences the performance of hardwar if He would like to know the growth of Database ? How to monitoring. If we have only one hardware but support many applications which accessed to ORACLE DB by employees of each plant.
