How can I not have Admin rights if…

Scenario: NT workstation 4.0 connecting to NT Server 4.0 network. Don’t use profile paths (profile is local in other words), on PDC I have Admin rights, on my local machine’s end I have Admin rights – so then, why when I try to install a program it says I do *NOT* have admin rights to proceed? What am I missing here (probably doesn’t help that I woke up with a killer headache so not giving a strong effort to troubleshoot this morning). At any rate it only gives me admin rights when I log on to the machine locally (ie. not connecting to domain).

Any insight?
